Client – Newcastle City Council

Overview – Newcastle Council provide over 70 services to residents of Adamstown, Carrington, Hamilton, Lambton, Merewether, Newcastle, New Lambton, Stockton, Wallsend, Waratah and Wickham areas. As part of their 2030 community strategic plan, Newcastle are leading the way in delivering a more liveable, smart and sustainable city.

Scope – Harnleigh have been engaged to provide electrical services including building structures and connecting to the electricity grid for electric vehicle charging, solar generation and smart public lighting projects.

  • Site layout, set up and traffic / pedestrian delineation

  • Excavation, conduits and permanent reinstatement

  • Rag bolt and smart lighting pole installation

  • Installation of solar awning structure and electric vehicle charger footings

  • All electrical services and communications

  • Connection to Ausgrid’s electricity network

Outcomes

  • Harnleigh are able to provide a holistic solution to our clients able to deliver the end to end solution for our clients from electrical services, building structures, communications, renewables and connecting to electricity networks

  • Harnleigh managed all allocated tasks from materials management, notification and collaboration with stakeholders, site layout, construction and permanent reinstatement of all excavated surfaces
